We provide unique, custom catering for events throughout Northeast Ohio. Our goal is to create truly memorable, surprisingly creative, and utterly satisfying experiences you and your guests will never forget.
WHAT SETS NOSH APART
Founded in 2011 by Chef Rick Carson, NOSH began as a multi-faceted business that included the restaurant (NOSH Eatery), NOSH farms, and of course, NOSH Creative Catering. NOSH would evolve over the years to focus solely on its growing catering services, but one constant remains: An unwavering dedication to only the freshest, finest food and ingredients, placed in the hands of extraordinarily talented people.

Our food pairs refined technique along with global flavors, intertwined with local, sustainable roots. Working with local farmers and vendors allows us to provide fresh, premium ingredients for our menu while supporting local businesses. Although we offer a creative menu for our clients, we have the opportunity to create custom menus to enhance a specific vision. Service is our priority. Professionalism is ingrained within all of our team members to ensure that every step of our services create a positive, lasting experience for our clients and partners.

Rick Carson
Founding Chef / Owner / Farmer & Forager
Rick Carson is a classically trained chef and has held top positions in fine-dining hot-spots, hotels, and culinary farm kitchens with over twenty-five years of experience. Besides being a working chef, Carson is one of the creators of “Cultivate”, an avant-garde pop-up dining experience, and is also an organic farmer. Growing up between the US and the Philippines, as well as spending time in Europe and the Caribbean, Chef Rick draws on his travels for inspiration and integrates global styles into many of his dishes.

DAVID HOLLAND
Partner Chef / Owner / Artist & Garden Manager
David Holland is a classically trained chef, specializing in French haute-cuisine. Drawing from his experiences in fine-dining establishments and hotels across the US, Chef Dave is an expert at blending the traditional and the modern, all the while staying true to local ingredients and culture. He is also a gifted sculptor, seen in his impressive feats of fruit and vegetable carving that adorn many of our tables.

ERIC MARTINEZ
Executive Chef
Chef Eric Martinez has served as Sous Chef of Nosh Creative Catering since joining the team in 2021 and in 2024 he took over the reigns as the Executive Chef at Nosh. A 2002 graduate of the Texas Culinary Academy, Eric's over two decades of talent, experience, and skills include team leadership, a wealth of culinary creativity, and countless menu designs.

DEREK FINNELL
Catering Manager
Previously the long-time Executive Chef for NOSH Creative Catering, Derek Finnell took a bit of time off in early 2024, rejoining the team later that year as our Events and Catering Manager. With a full understanding of the ins and outs of events for clients, their guests, as well as the back of the house operations, Derek is an invaluable asset and his level of knowledge and expertise is highly appreciated by our clients.

MELISSA FLORIG
Logistics / FOH Staffing / Event Manager
Melissa Florig has been with NOSH Creative Catering for over a decade, serving both the team and clients, while managing events, staffing, and logistics.
